Mandala 1 - LOCATION
As mentioned earlier, the Timberland Heights where Mandala 1 is built on, is just fifteen minutes away from the heart of Quezon City. Though it might seem like you are living in a secluded place in the province, you can still access all of the modern facilities of Metro Manila whenever you want to.
For instance, if you are looking for good schools for your children, just thirty or so minutes away is Katipunan Avenue. There, you will find several of the best schools in the country. There is the prestigious Ateneo de Manila University. Beside it is the equally famed Miriam College (formerly Mary Knoll College). A little further down the avenue, you will find the sprawling grounds of the famous University of the Philippines Diliman Campus. If you are just looking for elementary schools or high schools then there are dozens of them just minutes away from the main gate of the compound.
If you are worried about your commute to work then your fears are unwarranted. If you work in Quezon City, like in Eton Centris, UP Ayala Technohub, or anywhere near the Quezon City Hall, they are just fifteen to thirty minutes away by car. What is even better is that the new MRT line is being constructed along Commonwealth Avenue (which is just ten minutes away from Mandala 1) and when that train line is finished, you can commute to Makati in just the fraction of the time it used to be.
There are also quite a number of hospitals that are quite near Mandala 1 so you do not need to worry about not having access to medical services when you need it. From Mandala 1, you can easily reach East Avenue in Quezon City in just fifteen to twenty minutes. There, you will find several huge hospitals like the East Avenue Medical Center, the Philippine Heart Center, the National Kidney and Transplant Institute, the Children’s Hospital, and several more.
You should also stop worrying if you or any member of your family are shopaholics. There are lots of malls that are just a short car ride away from Mandala 1. Just ten minutes away, after exiting through the Batasang Pambansa Complex, you will find the Ever Gotesco Commonwealth Mall and across from that is the Shopwise Shopping Center. These places are well and good if you are looking into doing some light shopping and maybe buying groceries.
However, if you want the complete shopping experience then you can head over to the Fairview-Novaliches area so you can find three large malls - SM City Fairview, Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces, and Robinson’s Nova. You can also head over to Marikina City just as easily and go to Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall, SM City Marikina, and the Riverbanks Mall.
As you can see, you do not have to give up modern city living. In fact, there is no need for you to sacrifice anything at all. You are truly getting the best of both worlds (accessibility to modern amenities and living in a peaceful farm environment) when you live in Mandala 1.
